In this final section of our 5-part series on solar, we will finish the installation of the system by installing the inside components.

Continuing to put our plan into action, we will install the Victron 100/30 solar controller, 40 amp D/C Breaker, Victron BMV battery monitor, batteries, and disconnect switch.

In this section of our series on solar power, we will discuss the installation of the first half of the solar system. We are going to put our plan into action and install the rooftop components of the system. I am going to make an effort at tackling the huge topic of solar. Solar is a relatively simple system that is often complicated to the point that people believe it to be above the average DIY person’s skill level. I do not believe that to be true. I believe that with basic electrical skills anyone can install a functioning solar charging system if they deem it necessary.
