Join for a year, try a few different rallys with different region groups...at least give it a try...who knows, you will at least meet some folks that you wouldn't have met any other way. Even if you don't find "a new best-friend" I'm sure you'd meet
someone you enjoyed spending time with, even if it's just for a couple of days...it's not like you're signing up for a yearlong caravan like in the old days!
Then and only then can you make a fair assessment of whether one of the groups meets
your family's needs, and if not, oh well ~ don't renew. WBCCI may not be for everybody, but you won't know for sure if you don't give it a shot, every person's experience is going to be different...just my $.02
