Can someone answer whether this is indeed a Bambi or is a Bambi II?
BothBobs: Your trailer is a 1964 Bambi II per the serial number. I think the "6403" in the serial number indicates your trailer was built in March, 1964. Maybe the "II" broke off the trailer just after Bambi; look closely for holes, filled holes or pop rivets where the holes should be. It seems awfully late in production not to have had the "II" when it left the factory. The rest of the serial number falls within 1964 Calif. Bambi II production, with the sequential numbers likely starting at 1001. Yours looks to be the 141th '64 B-II made in Calif.
