I did learn by trial and error a trick to getting a nice, tight window seal. Put the glass in and snug it up nice and tight with the aluminum retainers and install the window. Fine tune the fit by visually inspecting that the glass has a uniform distance from the frame. THEN, put in the seal and it will be nice and tight. Start at the top center and work your way around. If too tight, use a tiny bit of WD40 and it will slid right into place. I found that if I put the seal in and then tried to put in the retainer strips, I could not get a tight fit. I hope someone finds this useful.
