Hi, I really like the idea of a solar system, but I just can't justify the price. So I went with a generator. Like all other electronic items, after a while, the price drops. But I haven't seen that on solar panels and systems yet. I can afford it if I want to, but in my mind, would I rather spend $1000.00 or so for 2000 watts? Or $1000.00 or so for 100 watts? Ideally I would like to have both and do more boondocking. Call me when solar panels are more reasonably priced. [my opinion]
