I want get any advice as to how I should go about installing this unit. Looking at the breaker box, it appears that it is set up for 20 amps. Is this suitable?

Also, I noticed a thread including comments by Andy at Inland RV reccomending against installing in place of an existing vent. Where should the ac unit be located?

I have a zillion questions and after having studied this forum a great deal, I'm sure many un-asked questions will be answered for me. The collection of experience here on this forum is very impressive.

Thanks,

John, by a strange coincidence we will be installing air conditioners on two Airstreams this weekend. I also have the service manual for ours, and can tell you where the unit should be located on your roof. You will have to cut a new hole for the air conditioner, the front edge of the hole will be a set distance from the very front rib. I'll post photos and descriptions when we are done, in our Fulltiming Adventure thread.
Stay tuned.
