Tom, there is one flat panel below the rear window that also has the recessed area where the license plate is held and there are the two rounded corner panels. Since mine has twin beds, I am not exactly sure if yours would be the same. Mine has the trunk door on the back in the lower part of the back panel.
It seems strange that the lower area is the only part with hail damage unless it was stored under a roof with the back end exposed at the dealer.
