pointing to the pin
There is a small/tiny silver pin which is located where the screw driver is pointing. We found this pin was laying on the ledge trapped in by the rest of the mechanism. We inserted and wedged and slide it back into place and now the latch is working! Eureka!
Now the question is, how to we keep it from happening again?
