Perhaps you can go to a different DMV

We found that different DMV offices give different advice/instructions.....I don't think the Culver City, CA DMV had ever registered a "Travel Trailer" before......Thousand Oaks had no problems registering our 1969 Travel Trailer....Culver City told me to have the trailer weighed......when they put in a weight, it wouldn't let them register it--they kept trying to call it a "Coach".....also the PO of our 68 received different quotes for charges for registering the 68 because it had dropped out of the system.....one office wanted years and years of back registration fees....another office didn't charge as much...go figure....pj
