We have made many camping trips down Baja solo, and one down mainland Mexico. Tent, stove, ice chest etc. in the back of the dune buggy. Camped on the beach most every night. Had great trips. That was in the 80s.
Never in our Airstream. Don't know that we would do that.
Our policy..............Never take anything you wouldn't walk away from. But, that's our policy any time we leave the good old US of A. Our one exception, Canada.
