We took our re-decorated 1989 29' Soveriegn to Baja winters of 05 and 06 with big Dodge pick-up and 15' car-top boat. We did some boon-docking, but stayed mostly in campgrounds, settling at Martin Verdugo's in Los Barrilos for most of winter. We made jaunts to Cabo, San Jose and Todo Santos where we stayed in hotels. After a "mordito" paid in Tacate for "illegal lane change" (we should have taken the option of going to the judge, which would have probably made cop decide to just give a warning), all was very good, traveling in daylight, of course.
