I totally agree with you. You're perception matches exactly what my local unit here in Illinois was like.
I am happy for the folks that have a good unit and frankly I'm jealous. I wish my local folks were as forward thinking as what has been stated. However, I'm not really willing to go to a different part of the country to be a WBCCI member....so either the local unit will change it's course or it too will die because I not only don't have the time to try to change it, but I don't have the desire either, even if I had the time.
I now step respectfully off my ra ra soapbox.
