I like the dry reds and my favorite is Jacob's Creek Shiraz. A good tawny port is nice on a cold evening.
The Mrs. likes the whites and blushes.
Every year we make a trip to the New York finger lakes and try to do a wine trail. We usually end up at
Lake Seneca. Last year marked a first for us...we actually made it all the way around the lake
.
We also found a very nice local winery while staying at
Virginia Highland Haven Airstream Park called
Chateau Morrisette. My uneducated palette found all their winds to be excellent.
