Dave, there are two basic schools of thought here with the vintage airstreams, partly depending on the condition: 1. Restore. 2. Remodel. Basically it is yours so do what you wish. From the pictures you already have a lot of work to do in the bathroom, so why not make it comfortable for your use? Go for it!
