You have a plan - or a framework to live by - sounds like an adventure many of us would like to attempt.

I'm sure the services you desire once on the road will be available and now days not that expensive. Ask specifics and the answers from experienced members will come.

Cellular access to the internet is available in many urban areas, it drops off in large national parks, GPS units are common and very fancy now with a lot of aptions available for little cost, solar - lots of threads on everything from the units themselves, power management, installation, and living off the grid.
