Those look like they should do the trick.
We recently ordered a set that are about the size of the factory installed puck lights. We found them in a Sprotys Tool Shop catalog and they use three AAA batteries, are directional with a touch of the finger and they seem to throw out good light. We're going to try them for reading and to see what the life of the batteries will be. They certainly won't throw off heat.
