Thumbs up Wow What a Treasure saved.

Well first thanks to Patrick for putting this video up so we might see it.
This is an absolutely amazing and unexpected plus for many of us who will never or have never visited Jackson Center or earlier plants.
In fact it might be better than a plant tour. Certainly so valuable for the legion of Vintage Owners.
I feel like I learned more in 8 minutes than I have in many years of owning an AS and many hours perusing this and other forums.

Amazing to me that the fusilage ribs are added after the skin.
That the floor is /was a 5/8 inch waferboard of one piece. (at least in 1985).
That buck riveting does not take two people much of the time.
Wasn't sure if the Dura Torque Axle production (insertion of rubbers) was being done at Airstream or at Henschen.
That the roof vents are added before the skin even goes on.
and much much more.

Gosh what a Monday morning treat to find this circa 1985 video on the forum.
Just hope Patrick can find similar stuff from the 1970's too.
Thanks again Patrick.
