| ? re Duo Therm Furnace - 1968 GT
Question.
I light the pilot light, everything is OK. As instructed I turn the same knob to the "on" position. The pilot stays lit - BUT the burner lights up- even when the other knob, the thermostat knob is in the "off" position.
Does anyone know if this is correct? Seems wrong to me. When I turn the thermostat knob higher, the flame stays the same, now this is probably right, I think the actual thernostat cuts the burner off when it gets hot enough- the higher the setting the longer the burner would stay on.... Am I right here?
Any ideas, experience, thoughts, help????? Replacement parts???
Thank you
Bryan
