Timely post. Just yesterday I bought a complete set of replacement A/C brackets for our Argosy. Cost was about $100 plus shipping for the whole set.

The power steering bracket should be the same on any 454 chevy 1-ton truck. The Pick-A-Part that I've been pulling parts from had plenty of them to choose from.

From what I've read and heard the A/C brackets have a tendency to break, unfortunately I don't now why. Can they repair the existing brackets?

I wonder if worn motor mounts might contribute to the problem?
