Pismo Coast Village

Good evening ladies. Just returned from a 7 day stay at Pismo, staying in spot 26. Have been going there for the past 10 years and know their system very well and would like to pass on a few pointers.

1. Your timing is perfect being that you can make your reservations 7 months in advance and the earlier that you make the reservations the better chance of getting better spots together.

2. The office personel turnover is high however Jessisca was very nice to deal with and we got one of the spots requested.

3. You cannot be site specific, you can request an area. The north side is the side you want and you want west end spots.
Depending on the number of units would suggest that you start end spots and work inward. Spot 50 is nice and would be hombase for the rally being large and next would be #27 then work inwards from those two. You are then able to utilize the common ground between the rows.

Next would be #75 lagre spot, homebase with lots of shade and #51 then work inwards.

Next #96 homebase and #76 then work inwards

4. A trip to Availa and lunch at the end of the pier is a nice treat. Also the FRESH fish there is fabulous, oysters, clams, dover sole, ahi, lobster. Splash in downtown is KNOWN for their clam chowder although it comes from the east coast, on the weekends at lunctime the line goes around the building. The best view from a restaurant is Steamers with good appetizers and pomegranate martinis, great at sunset time open at 5. A step up is Sea Venture just across the lagoon from the park.

5. For the winery group one of my favs is Tally in Arroyo Grande just 30 minutes south of the park. Talley Vineyards

Have a great time and look forward to pictures.
