The Delco shock was made for exclusively for Airstream, who required a 'horizontal shock."

Sometime back, Delco quit the deal.

Airstream then contacted Gabriel to make that special shock, and they have ever since.

There is NO satisfactory substitute for that shock.

It's available from a few dealers like us, who always has them in stock.

CAUTION.

NAPA stores have a shock that's exactly the same, physically, but it's a vertical shock.

When you mount that shock horizontally, it will not work.

The correct horizontal shock, is priced very reasonably.

Every few months, this same subject appears, and the answer is always the same. It's the Airstream horizontal shock, or nothing.
