Well, if the 1977 Airstream was in good condition, you are lucky to find it. There are mostly "as is", "fair condition" out there for 70's. I checked around for Values and Current Mkt prices. The smaller Airstreams (Bambi/Land Yacht) seem to be most popular, especially if they are in "restored condition" so, people can just get in and go w/very minor repairs, if any. We have a 1971 restored Sarfari Land Yacht that's polished up and ready to go For Sale at $8,000. That's a good deal for original condition, well maintained. You will always come out money ahead by paying more upfront and getting a well-maintained Airstream in as good as condition as possible.
