I recently reconditioned the wood in my 87 M/H and not for sure if the wood is the same as yours but I tried this golden pecan light stain and satin varnish combination(comes in 1 can) looked a little light but all the other stains looked to dark so I tried it anyway and the good thing about it is you can apply as many coats as you want to darken the wood as it goes on light the 1st coat. I had a few worn spots in the wood and this blended in perfectly. This made the wood in the M/H look factory again and is really easy to work with just brush it on. It is made by Minwax and I got this at Home Depot and Lowes has it also. Hope this helps.
