Darn, I don't remember the product name, but there was a post a week or two about a product that was something like contact paper, but heavier and metallic. It can be used for kick plates, refrigerators, stoves, table legs, etc.
You might also find that the dometic refrigerators have a veneer panel that is double sided - white on one side, wood grain on the other - or as on an old dishwasher of mine, copper on one side, "harvest gold" on the other.... some things we are better off not knowing!
