The issue is not Thor capitalizing on the name.

The issue is that the members that have towed for years need a smaller unit as they age and their driving capabilities start to limit their ability to tow and hook up. The current loyal Airstream owners that get into this condition (age, we all do it) are buying born free and roadtrek motorhomes because they want to keep camping. This affects the future sales of Airstream as well as having a negative impact on the WBBCI that has been very vocal about the need for this type of unit.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T BUY IT.

I love my 70's vinage Motorhome, but to some it is still a bast****d child beacuse it has a motor and is not silver. It does not meet the ideals of the 60's trailers and while I may not have many memories of the 60's, the product (Airstream) would be lying alongside Avion and silver streak if they had not continued to innovate and change with the customer.

Change is inevitable if Harley Davidson had not changed they would be a has been too.
