It wouldn't be very ethical of me to make a 10" drop bar, knowing it would cause problems.

We're getting off track, here. I don't make receivers, so I'll leave it up to my friends over at Putnam and Reese to come up with a solution on the truck end. That will certainly happen long before GM makes a change.

The coupler change is the best solution I've heard. Inexpensive and won't look ugly. As far as warranty, maybe someone needs to tickle the ear of an Airstream rep about that. I'm sure someone's already tuned in over there, given the popularity of the Suburban/Airstream combo.

By the way, I have a GM truck (Avalanche), my 4th one. So I like their products, too. This isn't the first time an OEM has made a change that caused the RV industry problems. We always work them out.
