hi scotty...

hey u found the gcwr, good job!

now what's the runner weigh once fully equipped to tow?

i won't repeat what in this post...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/553150-post10.html

as u might have determined, i like the haha...but u realize its 3 grand $$$?

by the time u are ready to purchase, there may be a slightly less expensive option with the SAME design features....

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f464...ach-37994.html

either hitch will improve the wheelbase issue and stability side of towing...

but neither hitch increases towing capacity or payload limits or the toyota brakes or cooler or tranny....

a haha weighs ~250lbs combine that with the tongue weight of 750-800 lbs...

and that 1000lbs+ of payload, without gear, people or other basics IN the runner....

can u tow that way, sure; others do. maybe the canadians will log in soon and report how wonderful towing over capacity is...

here is a thread on your current tv...

4Runner tow vehicle

and others with some of the folks using similar rigs...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f238...ner-29495.html

so u might pm some who may not see your threads...

and there are a fair number of same era tundra users (or former users) here...

search with the key term 4runner or tundra and LIMIT the search to just the tow vehicle section...

there are only about 30 threads to sort and read.

also there are MANY active forums/boards/websites for toy' enthusiasts,

and LOTS of 'can do' reports of towing abilities on those enthusiasts' forums...

cheers
