We use the Silver Pullit as a base for: Hiking, & almost any aspect of Natural History (in the classical sense) including microscopy, astronomy, geology, archaeology, paleontology, botany, meteorology, pot luck AM radio off the Heavyside layer, photography, minimalist camp-cookery. We camp mostly in the desert areas of the southwest and try to learn as much history as we can about where we happen to be. All of the above, of course, in a most informal and amateur way
