My mom was telling me how ugly it sounded, but once she saw what I picked out, she loves! Those colors are making a comeback, maybe everyone is as bored of beige as I am - who knows?
Those ice sculptures are something else. I've never seen any in person, but in those photos they look so much different than glass - much clearer and more ethereal. Awesome.
I got my toilet paper roll holder in the mail today. I was on a mission to find a non-boring, non-ugly one. It was ridiculous. On eBay ALL of the cool looking ones were going for an insane amount of money! Come on, it's a freaking toilet paper holder...!!
But anyway, I forked out. Now it's here, shining in its non-organically organic way. It's nickel-plated brass and I found a place within the state to send it to get it brass-plated. Brass-plated-nickel-plated brass? In any case, it will then match.
