Gloria,

Your table may be a 2-piece model, that folds over itself.

If you pull the one end of the spring clip out of the top section, you should be able to flip the section out, lift up on the end by the window, and double the size of the table. If you look on the underside of the table there should be a flip lock that piece undone allows the end to extend out to support this additional tabletop.

If you only have one piece as a table, then a PO took out or had break off the other half.
