There are numerous RV campo facilities both north and south of town so you can start at Sam's (few miles north) and work your way down. There are a couple S. of town for about $15.
Punta Estrella is trying , as are many, to sell lots. They own Valley of the Giants further south where the big Suhuaro cactus live- worth a trip, but prepare to air down if you get stuck in the sand!
