Sob

That Evinrude controler is in a 1958/9 MFG I picked up cheap.
Has a V-4 50 hp Evinrude.
Can't remember which is which year.
They are just one year apart, boat vs OB.

The other comtrols are just examples off ebay, not mine...yet.

A future project if I ever get board.

On the bottom polishing....
Is really a god thing NOT to do.
When racing sailboats during the 90's,
We all sanded the bottoms with 400 to 600 grit.
If that was not available, a brillo pad or 3M scotchbrite pad was used.
During many National races, when all boats were factory new, the trick was to drag them up on a rough beach to rid the gloss.
This is still debated I'm sure, I also have a few trophies beating many higher class boats.
