I put a bunk in my 71 tradewind and it came out neato. It is removable and intalls and can be removed in 5 minutes. Stows invisible behind the gaucho. Made out of canvas, aluminum tubing and marine bimini top connectors. Cost me about $200 in parts and sewing. The design is based on the optional bunks in the 70s. It's more like a cavas cot that a rigid bunk. Good for kids. I wouldn't put an adult in it. Do a search you should find it. Pizza Chop also has some posts about his bunks.
