Ok you guys. Now my wife is going to be pissed for sure. She already know of my undying love of aluminum - beer cans, 2 AS, grunmann canoe and now I will have ot break it to her of my new feathercraft lust.....All because I clicked on your AIR thread a bit ago....... My only hope is that if I find one and restore it (my neighbors dad has a 1947 johnson with the integrated "horseshoe" shaped fuel tank on top he will let go for $75), that it might be appropriate to tow a skier safely. It obviously look like a dream to handle with the design being suitable for acrobatic manuevers but will it pull a skier safely? My wife is a water skiing fanatic and it may be my only salvation......Plus if i am going to cyclone the 68' why not keep it spinning and do the boat.

Also, what is the best bet for finding/searching for a restorable feathercraft?

Thanks again for adding to my wish list - they are truly beautiful boats!
