| Marinco Power Inlet
This is the best plug like this I have ever seen. It is water proof when the cover in in place. It takes a twist-lock style female plug which has a threaded ring to help hold it in place and makes it waterproof when the cord is installed. I installed one in my front wall beside one of my front battery boxes. It is connected to a 10 ga. cable that I ran inside the left inside cable way just above the carpet to a point where the original 30A cord comes in right under the left single bed. At this point I installed a 30A automatic transfer switch.
I carry a 4kw gen set anchored in my F350 truck bed. I bought the Marinco yellow cable shown in their ad to connect it to this Marinco plug. With another special water proof 4 pin plug that connects a remote controller in the trailer to the gen set, this allows us to hit the start switch in the trailer when we are in a rest stop and we have 110v for whatever purpose we want in the trailer including air, microwave or coffee pot, or all at the same time. The transfer switch prevents having power on the male plug at the end of the original 30a cable under the left rear of the trailer. It also prevents some child from opening the Marinco plug cover on the front and touching 110v on the male prongs. That one will be dead when on commercial power.
