I'll be parting out the interior of this Safari in October. My objective today is to get feedback on saving some of the small items that are "unobtainable", but that I threw out without thinking on other remodel projects--things like plastic bed rail glides and handles, etc.
I'm not ready to take orders, yet--what I am looking for is that feedback. If you desperately need an item, a PM with some description of your project would help me a lot in making decisions. Up to now I've been dealing on a first come, first served basis, which is a little unfair to deserving members who aren't on the forum every hour.
All items will be "free", but I'm adding a simple requirement this time--you must be a
supporting member of the forums to qualify for free stuff. Other than than, cost is limited to the shipping cost.
Here's the bath. I'll retain most of this, but there may be some items from this section:
I'm converting the mid-section to a permanent bed and a computer work station, so everything goes. The rolling plastic drawer glides could come out individually or mounted on the cabinet walls. Three of the four drawers are intact. One closet door is intact, the other is slightly damaged at the hinge points, but all hardware appears functional, as are the tambors. All bed components will be available, as are the curtain rails.
The front will be converted to bench seats with a center table. The entire counter and cabinet will come out. Most of the fixtures and appliances will not be available--perhaps that will change (anyone got a spare handle for the oven door?).
