Monday evening I attempted to wash our Safari for an upcoming trip to Yosemite. I successfully hosed off the roof while performing a gravity-defying balancing act on top of a 6-foot ladder
. Half way though the wash, I fell off or a 2-foot ladder while taking no risk, landed on landscape rocks, and heard my left foot break
. In denial, I reasoned that my foot couldn’t be broken if I could finish washing the Safari! I nearly finshed, but gave up by the time I reached the back.
Needless to say, my Yosemite reservations are now canceled, and I get to stare at the back of my semi-clean Safari while sitting on my back porch with my foot elevated
.
