I've had the same thought. I went over to C&G Trailer Service here in Lakewood/Paramount, Calif. They have done the conversion for other AS's. They're response was... If it can fit through the door they can install it.
In a few years I want to convert to recliner type beds. They are available and can be even custom made for you.
