you could put a grill of some sort over it or what about a doorbell or both? replacing the bulkehead is only an option when you can match the finish. If you go this route consider just putting a skin on the exposed area.I had a similar problem with a bulkhead on an old sailboat. I covered it with a stainless plate. I have seen charts, compasses, UHF radios, stereos, LCD's, and radar used to cover the indescretions of a PO.I hope you find something!BoatBoy
