When did Craftsman stop being a quality tool? I completely agree that Kmart=Junk, but has the Craftsman line gone down that far? I recently bought a 100 plus piece tool set for a freind from Sears as a gift. That set came with a lifetime warranty. Those seemed fine to me. I also recently bought a Craftsman tourqe wrench rated to 150# because I had to put a new engine in one of my pick-ups. No problem there either. Mind you, I've got my own problems with Sears, but the tool line still seems to be strong.

For the money, the Craftsman line is a dang good tool (much cheaper than the professional brands and most come with a lifetime warranty). And yes, If I relied on my tools to earn a living, Craftsman would not be my first choice.

Did I miss something?

Jim
