so the auction was ended--I hope no one sent any money--but I feel for the seller who got hacked.
my experience was pretty horrible--it happened 6 hours before the end of auction for my Arg--and if you've ever sold a big item on ebay you'll know that it's very time consuming--you get zillions of phone calls and emails, I had people coming to look at it every day--and then to have the auction ended--infuriating--also I was put into some weird security zone by ebay--I couldn't send emails through them and all the info about bidders disappeared so i couldn't contact anyone to explain what happened.
I started up another auction right away--but that auction was being treated as suspicious by ebay so bidders disappeared and again I couldn't contact anyone--I finally got ebay to admit what they were doing, closed down that auction and started auction #3--so another week of craziness untill the Arg finally was sold!
Moral of the story--do not look at any strange emails--the one that got me was sent through ebay--which i thought was secure, BUT IT IS NOT!!
