We talked about Padre and she reminded me that when you go past Bob Hall Pier (destroyed several times by hurricanes) you are headed South toward Little Shell and Big Shell. As mentioned earlier, you can only go so far without a 4X4. Going North toward Port Aransas there are 3 RV parks that direction if you choose to stay in one of them. I don't know the names but they should be in some of the RV directories like Woodalls or Trailer Life.
