Shari: I love those liberated sconce shades - they are very mid-Fifties!  The top and bottom edges of the overhead closet doors might be out of sight when the doors are installed, so you might be able to use them until their replacements come along. It's so joyful to see Birdie being rescued from her earlier exposure to that Valdez spill of latex ...
