Actually, I made good progress for my first day...all the drawers (8) are stripped and ready to be re-finished. All the doors are out ready to be stripped tomorrow. I also, just for grins, stripped one of the overhead sliding doors...they are masonite with paint and wallpaper, underneath is a cool gold & white wrinkled-paint-texture masonite. Unfortunately, to remove the paint & wallpaper - it damages the masonite (white at edges) - we were planning on replacing those anyway, but it's pretty cool and I wanted to see what was there.

The best thing all day was being able to strip the paint from the cool fiberglass sconce shades without damaging them...now I just have to strip the housing & put them back together.

We also got rid of the foam (eeeeuuuuwww!) and curtains.

Not bad for a day's work...
