If you're wanting a clean look, consider "push to open", push to lock" latches on the cabinet doors. They are available at numerous sources on the web. Airstream used these kind of latches on our 1982 Liimited and they have held up now for over 25 years. They mount behind the door frames completely out of sight. They operate conveniently and keep the doors closed securely.
