Is there room for one more?
Hi girls,
Mrs. Towdaddy here. Is there room for one more to pull up a chair around this special campfire? This is a great idea!
Gas stations make us all anxious, if the truth be known. As said here before the most important thing to help with this is to be confident in your ability. The only way to accomplish this is practice, practice, practice. The fear of the unknown the moment that you realize that it is time to exit the freeway causes the anxiousness to set in. I am a total length of 60' and when comes to time to turn into a gas station everything must be just right. Everytime I begin to do this I hear the voice of my son, "Move over boys, my mom is coming in.". This helps me put things into perspective. I don't like to put others out, but when you need fuel, you need fuel. No matter how I do it I know that I am going to inconvenience someone. You gotta do what you gotta do! I also remember that if worse comes to worse I can always go out in reverse of the way I went in. Just remember all of you that have never much of this before, your confidence in your ability is most important in this situation. I did a lot of this with my 30' and never had a problem, that's not to say I was never anxious. I have never done this with my 34' yet. But I will not let this stop me from getting out there and meeting all of you. If we overcome our fears soon they will no long be fears!!!
I guess since I'm the new around this fire, it is my turn to stoke the fire.
