[Cracker]

Has anyone had experience repairing the extension towing mirrors on a 2003 GMC or Chevy? I'm hesitant to take the mirror apart until I know a little more about what to expect. The right mirror will only move in or out with a slight manual assist to get it moving. The driver's side has never been a problem. The motor runs - but it acts like a possible "clutch" assembly is slipping too easily. There may have been a "recall" on these mirrors but I haven't been able to locate any info.
