I'll jump in here until Frank replies, I think I know what he means. It sounds like you probably damaged the belly skin, and not the side panel? If it's only belly skin, a patch should be fairly easy and it's on the bottom where it won't be seen. If it damaged the side panel or banana wrap, then you may have other problems. Any photos?
