Hi,

Thanks for the PDF on the 66-81 umbilical wiring diagram. Just checking -- this should go for the 68 Trade Wind 24 ft. Land Yacht.

I just had to pay some good money I could have used for POR-15 because I connected something wrong from my new/vintage 68 Trade Wind to my Jeep's towing package outlet. I blew some fuses, kicked on the check engine light. I think I will leave the AS in the driveway while I rewire the umbilical.

I have the AS plugged into the house at the moment, but I don't know how long that will last because I see in another forum that I should be suspicious of the Univolt's monitoring of the battery charger while leaving the AS connected long-term.

I saw all the back-and-forth about the Univolt, so I don't want to stir up those hornets. My first simple question is, where is the Univolt supposed to be on the 68 Trade Wind, 24 ft, twin model?

Second question, maybe not so simple is, how do I change the Jeep's receiver for the 7-way plug to match the AS 7-way so's I don't make the same mistake again, and throw good money after bad?
