Sure enough, it's a bylaw: Names of Units All names will be geographical in nature and will represent a geographical area other than a state. The official name of the Unit must also include the name of the State in which most of its members retain residence, but no Unit shall be assigned any exclusive territory. (6/20/77) | The official name of the unit may include the state, but if you look at the rally listing in the Blue Beret, the names used there do not have the state included.
What happens if the demographics of the unit change over time and "most of the members" now reside in a different state than when the unit began, is it necessary to change the name or does it just apply on formation?
